Donate to our band & orchestra programs!
TAG DAY
Each year, all high school band and orchestra students canvas the Robinson area neighborhoods to ask for tax deductible donations from the community and invite neighbors to performances. Tag Day contributions are used to fund instruments, uniforms, music, clinicians, costumes, arranging, equipment and more for 13 performing ensembles.
Please join us at an orchestra or band concert, a chamber music recital, a jazz band performance, or a home football game to see and hear our hardworking students perform.
Give in person, scan the QR code, visit our websites, or send a check. No matter how you give, your tax-deductible donations go to the Robinson Band & Orchestra Parents Organization, which supports the teachers and students of the Robinson bands and orchestras.
When using online checkout, please note that though your receipt says “Robinson Band”, all funds go to RBOPO, which supports all orchestra & band students at Robinson.
About RBOPO:
Robinson Band & Orchestra Parents Organization (RBOPO) is an all-volunteer network of parents whose mission is to foster and promote musical excellence in our secondary school band and orchestra programs. More than 700 middle and high school students’ experiences are enriched through their participation in Robinson’s outstanding musical ensembles while being a part of one of the most inclusive and diverse organizations on campus.
Thanks to our community’s unwavering support since 1971, we have been able to offer one of the finest instrumental music programs in Virginia, resulting in awards and invitations to perform at such prestigious events as the Midwest Clinic and the Virginia Music Educators Association Conference.
Thank you for your support of music education and of the James W. Robinson Secondary Band & Orchestra programs. We hope to see you at one of our performances!
