Welcome to the 2009 edition of the Robinson Marching Rams!  Rookie camp starts this coming Wednesday, August 19, from 8:30 a.m. through 11:30 a.m. and continues on Thursday and Friday before the start of Full Band Week on Monday morning, August 25.

To welcome Rookie Band parents, RBOPO (the Robinson Band and Orchestra Parents) will be holding an informal “Welcome Coffee” on the patio behind the Band room on Wednesday the 19th starting at about 10:45 a.m. and continuing until the rookies are finished at 11:30.  

We’ll have light refreshments and it will give you a chance to see a portion of the first day “action”.  Also it will give you a chance to hear briefly from Mr. Cook on what to expect over the next several weeks as the Band rookies and veterans pull together and work through this year’s Marching show --”Rhapsody in Blue & Gold”.

Please stop by, enjoy a short break before the end of the first day’s rookie practice and meet a few other rookie, as well as ”well-worn” band parents, as we begin the 2009 marching season.
