Robinson Bands will be hosting a guest jazz band from Kent, England,Norton’s Hot 8 under the direction of John Hall. Norton's Hot 8 will be visiting Robinson all the way from The Norton Knatchbull School in Ashford, Kent, UK. They are an American style Dixieland Band (played with an English accent, of course) that have successfully toured England and Europe and have been repeatedly featured on the BBC as winner of the London “Proms”, England’s pre-eminent performance competition for school groups. Their visit to Robinson will mark their second appearance in the United States and Robinson is thrilled and honored to host their week here in the U.S.
