The 1999 marching performance was based on Channel One Suite, first performed in 1971 by Buddy Rich and his jazz band. Set in three movements, this exciting performance included featured solos by saxophonists Reuben Breslar, Scott Cohen, Liz Caffrey and Chris Ward, trumpet players Adam Gardner and Mike Smith, as well as the entire Robinson percussion section. A most demanding musical selection, Channel One Suite was an exciting challenge worthy of the outstanding musicians at Robinson.
